Terms of service: Block Done While Blockers Open
Last updated: 23 October 2026
These terms are between you, the organisation that installs the Jira Cloud app Block Done While Blockers Open ("the app"), and Datadelight ("we"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not install the app.
The app
The app is a Jira workflow validator that runs on Atlassian Forge. It refuses a move into a Done status while a work item linked as "is blocked by" is still open. If the app cannot read Jira, it allows the move rather than blocking it. Your use of Jira itself is governed by your agreement with Atlassian.
Your licence
While the app is installed, you may use it on your Jira Cloud sites for your own business. You may not resell, sublicense or reverse engineer it, or use it to break the law or Atlassian's terms.
Fees
If the app is offered for a fee, Atlassian bills you for it through the Atlassian Marketplace, on Atlassian's terms. We do not bill you directly.
Your data
The app stores no data and sends nothing outside Atlassian. Our privacy policy explains what it reads and logs.
Support
Contact support@datadelight.co. We aim to help, but we do not promise a response time unless we agree one with you in writing.
Changes to the app and these terms
We may change or stop offering the app. If we stop offering it, we will give reasonable notice where we can. We may update these terms. The new version applies from the date shown above, and continuing to use the app means you accept it.
Ending
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app. We may end your use if you breach these terms.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it is error-free or fits a particular purpose. Check your workflow after adding the validator.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, data or business. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
